…so by complete fluke, I’ve had two episodes with singer/songwriter/engineer/man-about-town Paul Hodgert that were released on the exact same day in different years. We decided to (deliberately) go for the trifecta this time and completely mess up my release schedule to make it happen.
There's a legit reason Paul's back on the show, though: we talk about his work restoring the lost-for-30-years record by DUD (feat. members of the Bonaduces, I-Spy and the Weakerthans), its upcoming release on vinyl, and the potential for his One Friday Music label to remix/remaster/reissue more out-of-print (or never-heard) Winnipeg gems in future. He has the technology.
Need to hear more from Paul? Check him out on episode #920 (Aug. 2024) and #996 (Aug. 2025), as well as a special livestream he did from my dining room on episode #960 (Dec. 2024).
