Show Notes

Here's the second Deafwish episode in a row! This week featured Deafwish CVO (Central Victory Officer) Rock Trembath (a/k/a DJ Found Dead) as a last-minute guest when one of our scheduled people had to cancel. He joined guest Natalie Haines-Wallace to talk about the "tomb" theme... something that worked out pretty well, considering the rushed circumstances. It's also the third episode in a row with one host and two guests, as Rob and Jon were still in Montreal when we recorded this.

WR551: Ryan McMahon / Unscripted Moments live from MBPodFest

We're almost at the end (mercifully) of 2020, so here's something fun to close out the year. It's a panel I moderated at this year's [Manitoba Podcast Festival](https://www.facebook.com/mbpodfest/), which was held virtually due to the pandemic. The panel featured [Ryan McMahon](http://www.rmcomedy.com/) ([Thunder Bay](https://www.canadaland.com/shows/thunder-bay/),[ Red Man Laughing](https://www.indianandcowboy.com/red-man-laughing-podcast)), alongside Keith and Greg from Unscripted Moments: A Podcast About Propagandhi. There's a lot of 'inside baseball' on this one about podcasting -- the topic is growing and developing an audience -- but I think it's of interest to Witchpolice listeners as well. Back to your regularly-scheduled programming next week! Happy New Year! Huge thanks to everyone who supports the podcast on [Patreon](http://www.patreon.com/witchpolice). You can help out for as little as $1 a month if you like the show and want to throw some change in the guitar case! ...

WR333: Plain as Ghosts

It's a sit-down at a restaurant with Niverville-based alt-rockers [Plain as Ghosts](http://www.plainasghosts.com/) (well, two of 'em, anyway). We talk about their remix project, emotionally-driven songs, their Spinal Tap-esque difficulty finding a permanent bass player, and a lot more! This episode brought to you by our friends at the [Park Theatre](http://myparktheatre.com/). Thanks to everyone who has supported the podcast thus far. Thanks to supporters like you, we can keep churning out interviews twice a week! If you like the show, please head down to [patreon.com/witchpolic](http://www.patreon.com/witchpolice)e and for as little as $1 a month (less than 12 cents an episode), you can help keep the lights on! ...

WR154: Futurekids

This week's guests, Futurekids, were on the podcast in late 2014. They're back again about a year later with a drastically different lineup, a new sound and a new album coming out Nov. 21 (CD release party at the Windsor!) We talked to 3/4 of the new-look Futurekids about 'mixing' songs, working on the forthcoming This is Everything, going shoeless and a whole lot more. Check it out! ...
