While Manitoba is always the focus of the podcast, I also like to branch out and talk to members of what I call the “Manitoba diaspora” — artists from the prairies plying their trade elsewhere.
Dog Dad Posse (a/k/a Sammy D) is one such artist. We talked about the journey that took him from Winnipeg singer-songwriter to exploring hip-hop — first in BC, now in Toronto — as well as his love for prairie rap, dogs, and so much more.
