Show Notes

If you haven't heard the name [Waster](http://waster.bandcamp.com/) in a while, you're not alone. The local groove-metal five-piece went on an unofficial hiatus for a number of years without releasing any music or playing many shows, but they're back with a new, self-titled record, dropping March 15. Two members of the group sat down to talk about the new record, about the hiatus and what they've been doing in the meantime, about taking an ill-advised turn toward thrash, and a lot more. This episode is brought to you by our friends at [the Park Theatre](http://myparktheatre.com/) and by [Demedash Effects](http://www.demedasheffects.com/), a local company that makes hand-made guitar effect pedals like the glorious T-120 Videotape Echo. Thanks to everyone who has supported the podcast thus far. Thanks to supporters like you, we can keep churning out interviews twice a week! If you like the show, please head down to [patreon.com/witchpolice](http://patreon.com/witchpolice) and for as little as a $1 month (less than 12 cents an episode), you can help keep the lights on!
