WR353: The Rules

Show Notes

Power trio [The Rules](http://therules.bandzoogle.com/) are battle-scarred veterans of the local punk scene who still go hard… but in the friendliest possible way. Blending punk energy and aggression with sweet, earworm-ready melodies, their debut EP is eight minutes of pure fun. We hung out at a donut shop to talk about the record, about their take on the current, Albert-less punk scene, on whether they’re even a punk band at all, the hilarious story behind their band name, and much more! This episode is brought to you by our friends at [the Park Theatre](http://myparktheatre.com/) and by [Demedash Effects](http://www.demedasheffects.com/), a local company that makes hand-made guitar effect pedals like the glorious T-120 Videotape Echo.
