Show Notes

It's a wide-ranging interview with a quiet icon of Winnipeg's music scene, [Mike Koop](http://www.youtube.com/user/deathcureseverything) (The Bonaduces, The Leftists, The Kicker, Cheerleader, Buick 6, etc.) We talk about his (great) country gospel album, his bands’ place in Winnipeg’s musical continuity, the everlasting appeal of the CD format, and much more! This episode is brought to you by our friends at [The Park Theatre](http://myparktheatre.com/). It’s also brought to you by MCMA Award-nominated country artist [Brian Jacobs](http://brianjacobsmusic.ca/), whose debut solo record ‘[Highways and Backroads](http://brianjacobs.bandcamp.com/album/highways-backroads)’ is available now! Award-winning local jazz/fusion/psychedelic wizards [Apollo Suns](http://apollosunswpg.bandcamp.com/) are back with a Winnipeg show [Oct. 11 at the Park Theatre](http://www.facebook.com/events/2218967255062107/)!
