Show Notes

At first glance, Jessee William might seem like the quintessential hardcore kid — but looks can be deceiving, as dude just released a killer country EP, “Headwinds”.

We talk about the parallels between punk and country, giving the record some lush pedal steel courtesy of Rory Verbrugge… and working with Jordan Voth (who is also featured in an interview at the end of the episode), who brings a decidedly non-country production aesthetic to the proceedings.
