WR504: Zoongide’ewin

I had a great conversation with Hamilton (via Winnipeg via Selkirk via Brokenhead Ojibway Nation) 'moccasingaze' artist [Zoongide’ewin](http://zoongideewinmusic.bandcamp.com/)! We talked about his deadly new record, [Bleached Wavves](http://zoongideewinmusic.bandcamp.com/album/bleached-wavves) ([Paper Bag Records](http://paperbagrecords.com/)), about his early career in Manitoba, discovering his shoegaze sound and embracing his Indigenous culture and heritage, and much more. This episode is brought to you by [Never Better Coffee](http://www.neverbettercoffee.ca/) and by [Northern Royals](http://northernroyals.com/)! Don’t forget to check out some socially-distanced shows at [the Park Theatre](http://www.myparktheatre.com/), who have slowly reopened after a long COVID-19 closure. Huge thanks to everyone who supports the podcast on [Patreon](http://www.patreon.com/witchpolice), including the most recent patron, Bill Northcott (I will be thanking new patrons on-air next episode). You can help out for as little as $1 a month if you like the show and want to throw some change in the guitar case!
