Show Notes

Talking jazz again on this episode with Brandon (by way of New York) jazz musician and educator Matthew Steckler, a/k/a [Matty Stecks](http://www.mattystecks.com/). We talk about his [ambitious new double album](http://mattystecks.bandcamp.com/album/long-time-ago-rumble), impressions of the prairies, Charlie Chaplin, jazz’s future in this COVID-19 infected dystopia, and much more. Matt has an extensive resume in jazz across North America, and the genre-bending *Long Time Ago Rumble* is an excellent addition to his discography. This episode is brought to you by our friends [the Dirty Beat](http://www.instagram.com/thedirtybeat/) and [Jared Adams](http://tragicnostalgia.ca/).
