Show Notes

This week's episode finds us in a basement laboratory with electronic experimentalist [FreakingSnap](https://freakingsnap.bandcamp.com/), a/k/a Chris Friesen. Chris talks about his spontaneous writing and recording process, his truly prolific output (a catalogue which has ballooned even further since this interview was recorded over a month ago), and some musings on the local music scene past and present. This episode brought to you by two upcoming film screenings at the Park Theatre. On Jan. 4, they're hosting a special screening of 'best worst' cult classic _[The Room](https://www.facebook.com/events/1758241841147830/)_ , and Jan. 10-11 features a sing-along edition of 1986 David Bowie/Jim Henson masterpiece _[Labyrinth](https://www.facebook.com/events/297775190735915/)_. It's also brought to you by the [Solstice Edition of Record Sundaze](https://www.facebook.com/events/369169176856591/), which is happening Dec. 17 at PEG Beer Co. Dub Ditch Picnic, Eat 'Em Up Records, Eye and Ear Control, and Electric Heat Records will all be there with records, tapes and CDs from 12-5 p.m.
