Show Notes

"Heavy metal grunge" rockers Solhounds (well, half of them, anyway) are back on the podcast for the first time since 2015. In that time, they've made some significant changes to their sound and their lineup, and they talk about how everything is falling into place for the new, improved version of the band. Solhounds performs live for the first time since taking a summer hiatus on Sept. 22 at the Good Will in Winnipeg.

WR661: Ian Krochak

When Niverville singer-songwriter Ian Krochak was last on the podcast, he was just in the process of re-launching himself as an artist after a number of years out of the game.We caught up and talked about the development of his country/roots-rock sound, tapping into creativity through the pandemic, a podcast project he’ll be launching soon, and much more.Note: This interview was a little longer than it appears here, but we had a bad connection for part of the interview (Ian was on a cell phone and there was a storm), so some of it was unusable, unfortunately.
