WR369: Proper Operation

I recorded an interview with Winnipeg (via Portage la Prairie) alt-rock/punk outfit [Proper Operation](http://properoperation.bandcamp.com/) last summer, but for various reasons, it was never formally released. They're back on the show (and this one is actually out now in podcast form) and we talk about their demo EP, the continued appeal of '90s grunge, playing without a bassist, and much more. Note: I wish the O.G. episode HAD worked out, because while the content of the conversation is just fine on this one, the recording isn't the greatest. They're all soft-spoken guys, and at times it can be difficult to hear what they're saying. This episode brought to you by our pals at [The Park Theatre](http://myparktheatre.com/)! Thanks to everyone who has supported the podcast thus far. Thanks to supporters like you, we can keep churning out interviews twice a week! WR667: Jessee William (and Jordan Voth)

At first glance, Jessee William might seem like the quintessential hardcore kid — but looks can be deceiving, as dude just released a killer country EP, “Headwinds”.We talk about the parallels between punk and country, giving the record some lush pedal steel courtesy of Rory Verbrugge… and working with Jordan Voth (who is also featured in an interview at the end of the episode), who brings a decidedly non-country production aesthetic to the proceedings. This episode brought to you by our pals at Devine Shirt Company.Huge thanks to everyone who supports the podcast on Patreon! You can help out for as little as $1 a month if you like the show and want to throw some change in the guitar case! WR323: Mobina Galore

Occasional co-host Ryan is back for this episode, taking over the main hosting duties alongside Tony Beaudoin of Union Stockyards. Together, they interviewed punk rock power duo [Mobina Galore](http://www.mobinagalore.com) a few months back, presented here in podcast form. Mobina Galore were first on the podcast [way back in 2014](http://witchpolice.podiant.co/e/3551914c1b2ceaL/), so obviously a lot has happened since then, especially since their career has absolutely skyrocketed. Ryan and Tony get into some of the highlights with them and much, much more! This episode brought to you by our friends at the [Park Theatre](http://myparktheatre.com/).
